Rough Patch Update

Thanks, everyone, for your e-mails and comments. I don't know how it happened, but this one just went away. Whatever we'd said that night at the kitchen table, where I snapped the picture of my daughter's chapped hands, did the trick. Seems like the only person needing therapy is the mom.
