Mine's missing in only a little over half of them. I've been trying not to think to much about it but just had a long dicussion with V and my only conclusion was that half this country are willing to support depriving a basic human right to about 10% of the population - their neighbors, friends and relatives. I see no way to put a good face on it. It sucks.
Your kind comment on my blog came at a time when that's just what I needed. So thanks.
A newfound faith in humanity, I find, however small, is the sure-fire result of a good conversation with a stranger. The problem is finding that stranger. And though it's on the internet, floating somewhere in the ether, you were that stranger.
